Project Pitch

Team: Dave Becroft, Elliot Brodzki, Stefan Giusti, Adrian Mejia, Charles Murphy, Sam Rogers

  • GAME NAME: Orion
  • GAME GENRE: Chill Celestial shooter
  • GAME ENGINE: Unity 3D Engine
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The player takes control of the constellation Orion in the night sky over Earth. As comets and meteors fall through the night sky towards the Earth, Orion must fire shooting stars from his celestial bow to knock them away/destroy them in order to save the Earth! Both the falling meteors and the shooting stars from Orion's bow are affected by the gravity wells around the many stars in the night sky, making it difficult to predict the path they will take as they travel.

At the end of each level, there will be a boss constellation that you will have to defeat.

SIGNIFICANT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

  1. Boss constellations
  2. Gravity wells and celestial body movement mechanics
